Hello,

 A bit about me:

I am an art educator whose passion is helping students find their creativity and drive in all academic areas. I grew up in both the DFW area and Seattle, Washington. I attended Texas Christian University where I had wonderful student observations in various school districts. For my student teaching internship I was placed in Hurst Euless Bedford ISD in Bedford Heights Elementary (K-6) and Central Junior High (7-9).  In 2014, I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education and an emphasis in painting.  I then married my wonderful husband and moved to Miami, Florida. While there, I had my first part time teaching experience as the sole art teacher for a small after school fine arts studio. After 6 months in Miami, my husband’s job brought us back to DFW where I started working at Sam Houston High School in Arlington ISD as one of 8 art teachers. Over the 4 years I was at Sam I taught Art 1, Art 3, Art 4, Advanced Placement Art, and International Baccalaureate Art. My teaching portfolio includes my resume, K-12 lesson plans, student teaching lesson plans,  rubrics, student examples from projects I have taught and my own artwork. Please feel free to contact me through the email form on the contact page with any questions or comments.
